Sunrisers Hyderabad played Delhi Daredevils on 12 May 2016 at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad. Sunrisers Hyderabad was leading the table before coming into this match. While Delhi Daredevils was at number four. Both the teams looked to cement their playoff spots.

No changes for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Coulter-Nile replaced Zaheer Khan. There was no Carlos Brathwaite as well.
Sunrisers Hyderabad was off to a great start, thanks to David Warner. Shikhar Dhawan and David Warner put 67 runs for the first wicket.

Kane Williamson tried to hold his ground but couldn't get much support at the other end. Henriques went for a nought. Hooda hit his own stumps. This is SRH’s second hit-wicket in IPL 2016.
Chasing 147, Delhi Daredevils started well. Quinton de Kock scored a brilliant half-century. Pant and Samson had a good game too.

Delhi Daredevils was in control right from ball one and chased the target comfortably.

Delhi Daredevils took wickets at regular intervals after the first breakthrough. Amit Mishra had a great game. He took two wickets in this match. Chris Morris bowled Williamson with an excellent delivery. He had a good game with the ball too.
Ashish Nehra took an early wicket for SRH. Henriques took two wickets in a single over, including the crucial wicket of de Kock. Mustafizur Rahman had an off day. No wickets for him against Delhi Daredevils. It was the same story even for Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
