IPL 2016: Highest/Most Run-Scorers, Leading Wicket-Takers after Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) vs Gujarat Lions (GL)
Sunrisers Hyderabad played Gujarat Lions on 6 May 2016 at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad. Sunrises Hyderabad was upbeat after their previous win against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Gujarat Lions is flying high in the top half of the table. Another win would push them to number one. While a win for Sunrisers Hyderabad will push them higher in the table.
Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and chose to field first.
"The wicket will not change. The chasing probably is the key here. The guys are all fresh here. No reason for them not to give 100%. Yuvraj comes back in." Warner said.
"Our performances have been good. It is a fresh game. Hopefully, we can do well. Bravo comes in for Jimmy. Sangwan comes in for Ishan Kishan.” Raina added.

Gujarat Lions were off to a shaky start. They lost three wickets in the first six overs. Nothing worked for Gujarat in the first ten overs. All their batsmen struggled against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Only Aaron Finch stood his ground to make sure that GL posted a decent total.
Sunrisers Hyderabad was off to a mediocre start as well. David Warner and Kane Williamson were dismissed early. Shikhar Dhawan held his ground and played a crucial knock. Hooda played a brilliant knock to ease the pressure on Sunrisers Hyderabad. In the end, Shikhar Dhawan won the game for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Sunrisers Hyderabad started brilliantly with the ball. The first two overs were maidens, thanks to Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ashish Nehra. Bhuvneshwar Kumar took two wickets in this match. Remember, he bowled his IPL 9 best against Gujarat Lions in the reverse fixture.

Trivia: Gujarat Lions took fourteen balls to score the first run of the innings. This is the most by any team in IPL history. Moreover, no other team has bowled back-to-back maidens in the first two overs.
Take nothing away from Mustafizur Rahman; he was on fire today. He picked up two wickets today.
Gujarat Lions bowled well in the early overs and put a lot of pressure on Sunrisers Hyderabad. Bravo picked up two wickets.
Andre Russell leads the wicket-takers chart. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mustafizur Rahman moved up the chart. Bravo made a climb as well.
