Ashok Dinda picked up three wickets against Sunrisers Hyderabad

It rained the moment players walked onto the ground. We had a delayed start. After some hide-and-seek with the rain gods, the match was underway at 9:00 PM.

David Warner was the man to watch today. He led from the front in the last game and guided Sunrisers Hyderabad towards victory. He has been in brilliant form lately. He scored four half-centuries already in IPL 2016. That was not the case today. He fell in the first over.

Eoin Morgan went for a duck as well. Shikhar Dhawan scored a half-century. Bhuvneshwar Kumar played a wonderful cameo at the end.

Rahane went for a duck. Faf du Plessis and Steve Smith held the innings together during the powerplay. Steve Smith took the game away from Sunrisers Hyderabad in the initial stages.

There was another twist in the tale. It rained again and the match was called off. Rising Pune Supergiants won the match by 34 runs, thank the DLS method. This is Pune’s second win of the tournament.

Virat Kohli has the Orange Cap. David Warner has the most number of sixes. While Krunal Pandya has the best strike rate of the tournament.

Spectacular fielding will turn matches around in a fly. Fielding has become a key part of modern cricket. Any side with good fielders will always stand a chance to win the game in the final overs. Fielding in IPL 2016 has been nothing short of extraordinary. We have seen some brilliant individual effort and have seen some extraordinary relay catches. We have seen it all.

Rising Pune Supergiants were excellent in the field today.

AD de Villiers still has the most catches in IPL 9. While Parthiv Patel dismissed most players as a wicketkeeper. Watson-Weise relay catch is the best catch of the tournament so far.
