IPL 2016: Kings XI Punjab players vehemently deny reports of Shaun Marsh brawl
As some reports claimed that Kings XI Punjab left-hander Shaun Marsh was sent back home due to an alleged brawl inside the dressing room, some of the big names of the Punjab side vehemently showed their displeasure about the news on social media. They rubbished the rumours with utter disdain and also lashed at Indian journalists for spreading out such a baseless news. Kings XI Punjab, who will square off against the Mumbai Indians in an IPL 2016 encounter tonight, have had a forgettable tournament so far as they currently languish at the bottom of the table. They will have to win tonight to have any chances of qualifying for the playoffs this season.
Australian batsman Shaun Marsh was ruled out for the rest of this year’s edition of the IPL with a back injury. But when some reports claimed that the talented southpaw went back home due to an alleged altercation with a teammate inside the dressing room, Marsh’s Australian teammate Glenn Maxwell took to twitter to express his utter disappointment.

It clearly shows that these cricketers didn’t like whatever was said and they tried to play down the rumours vociferously. However, the man who hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons, Shaun Marsh hasn’t spoken anything about the news yet.
Later, Maxwell, posted an image of a lengthy note to clarify the point that everything is well inside the team despite their lacklustre performances this season.
