IPL 2016: Kolkata Knight Riders open hospitality box for spectators

Kolkata Knight Riders celebrate their win over Delhi Daredevils

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have created a hospitality box for the general public at the Eden Gardens for the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), the franchise said on Tuesday.

The box is situated in the B Block of the stadium right below the main corporate box where team owners and guests get together to cheer their favourite teams.

The box has a seating capacity of 850 and each ticket is priced at Rs.5,500 plus taxes. Apart from a great view of the stadium, the audience will be getting food and beverages along with KKR official merchandise.

"In the magnificent Eden Gardens we wanted to enhance the viewing experience for the spectators. We also wanted to increase the hospitality seats so that general public also gets to feel the ultimate experience which is mainly limited to corporates and the VVIPs. I am hoping that it would be full in all the games," KKR MD and CEO Venky Mysore said in a release.
