Let’s analyse who these two sides might name in the playing 11.
Sunrisers Hyderabad
Batsmen: The two lefties, Dhawan and Warner are going to open the batting for the Sunrisers. Warner has been in great touch since the first game of the Hyderabad campaign while Dhawan, who was initially struggling is back in form. He scored a brilliant 82 against the Mumbai Indians and was the highest scorer for Hyderabad in a low scoring encounter against Pune in their last game.
The Black Caps captain Kane Williamson is likely to come in at number 3 and has been in good touch himself. Yuvraj Singh should come in at number 4, and every cricket fan knows what he can do with the bat in his hand.
Deepak Hooda, the youngster, who has established a reputation for being a powerful striker of the cricket ball is likely to bat in at number 5, set to followed by wicket-keeper batsman Naman Ojha.
All-Rounders: Moises Henriques has been an integral part of the Sunrisers squad this season and has not missed a single game this season. The Australian all-rounder has scored 100 odd runs with the bat in hand and has picked up 7 wickets with medium pace bowling this season.
Yuvraj Singh is no novice with the ball in hand and every Indian cricket fan will remember his exploits with the ball in the 2011 World Cup. If necessary, Yuvraj can be utilized as a stop gap bowler.
Bowlers: The bowling unit for SRH has been a revelation. Mustafizur “The Fizz” Rahman has been just brilliant, picking up 13 wickets and only going for 6 runs an over. Ashish Nehra has come back from injury and has used all his experience to restrict the batsmen. Bhuvaneshwar Kumar has been impressive as well, picking up 14 wickets in the process.
Barinder Sran, who recently made his debut for India in Australia is another vital cog in the Sunrisers bowling unit and has picked up 9 wickets. The four pacers have been so impressive that they have kept Karn Sharma out of the 11. Given their performances in the last game, it is highly unlikely for any of them to make way for Sharma.
