IPL 2016, Stats: Amla's special knock in vain as SRH beat Punjab by 7 wickets
After being roped in as a replacement for Shaun Marsh, Hashim Amla had failed to impress in his first few games. However, in today's game, Amla came up with a superlative knock to help Punjab put 179 on the board.
In addition to the disappointment of missing out on his maiden T20 hundred, Punjab ended up on the losing side as Sunrisers Hyderabad chased down the total brilliantly to inch closer to a confirmed place in the playoffs.

50 – Mustafizur Rahman reached the milestone of picking up 50 wickets in T20s. He reached this milestone in 35 matches.
96 – Hashim Amla's knock was the second highest score for Punjab that was made in a losing cause. This was also Amla's second highest knock in T20s.
100 – Bhuvneshwar Kumar reached the milestone of picking up 100 wickets in T20s.
