IPL 2016, Stats: Dhawan, bowlers guide Sunrisers Hyderabad to convincing five-wicket win over Gujarat Lions

Gujarat Lions batsmen had no clue against the dominating Sunrisers bowling attack

Gujarat Lions’ bad run of form continued as they lost their third consecutive match in the IPL after having won six of their first seven. Sunrisers Hyderabad put in a comprehensive performance to notch up a five-wicket win over the Lions at Hyderabad.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ashish Nehra bowled two maiden overs right at the start of the innings to put the Lions on the backfoot. Kumar picked up two wickets while Mustafizur Rahman also scalped two from the game as they restricted the Lions to a below par score.

In reply, Shikhar Dhawan regained some form as he brought up another responsible performance with the bat to guide his side over the finishing line and move the Sunrisers into the top four of the IPL table.
