IPL 2016, Stats: Kohli's brilliant hundred ends up in a losing cause as Lions defeat RCB by 6 wickets
In the first match of the Sunday's Indian Premier League (IPL) doubleheader, Virat Kohli, arguably, India's best batsman, brought up a great tribute to India's Little Master, Sachin Tendulkar, who turned 43. Kohli's brilliant form in 2016 continued as he went onto score his first T20 hundred after winning the toss for the first time in this IPL.
However, the target set by the Royal Challengers Bangalore was not quite enough as the Gujarat Lions openers fired early on and helped make the chase a fairly comfortable one in the end.
