IPL 2016, Stats: Warner's brilliant knock helps Sunrisers defeat Mumbai Indians by 7 wickets
Sunrisers Hyderabad clinched a brilliant first win of the season after an inspirational performance from captain, David Warner who carried his bat through the innings to help his side defeat the Mumbai Indians by seven wickets at Hyderabad.
On a tricky wicket, the Hyderabad bowlers did well to restrict Mumbai to a score of 142, with Barinder Sran picking up 3 wickets. Ambati Rayudu and Krunal Pandya played useful knocks to help Mumbai reach a score of some respectability.
In reply, Shikhar Dhawan's woeful form with the bat continued as he was dismissed cheaply. However, captain Warner led from the front and ensured that the Sunrisers got their first points of the season comfortably.
