IPL 2016: Twitter applauds Rahul Dravid for transforming the Delhi Daredevils

Twitter was full of praise for the Daredevils mentor

The Delhi Daredevils sprang a surprise on the Royal Challengers Bangalore by chasing down a huge total of 191. DD batted with authority and aplomb chasing down the total quite easily in the end with 7 wickets in hand and five balls to spare.

It had seemed like the RCB will run away with the game at one stage as they looked to bat DD out of the game. Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers strung together a partnership in excess of hundred dismissing bowlers to all parts of the Chinnaswamy stadium.

But the Daredevils stayed in the game taking crucial wickets. The wickets of Watson and Kohli considerably put the brakes on the scoring and the RCB failed to kick on in the last four overs. Though it had looked like the RCB would score something well in excess of 200, they fell well short in the end.

It was a masterful run-chase in the end as Karun Nair and Quinton de Kock guided the Daredevils to the target of 192 in the 20th over. Twitter went berserk after the match saluting the work being done by Rahul Dravid and the transformation that he already seems to have brought about in the DD camp.
