IPL 2017, Eliminator: SRH vs KKR: Sunrisers Hyderabad(SRH) today's probable playing 11 against Kolkata Knight Riders(KKR)
The Sunrisers Hyderabad, like they did last year, will have to take the long route, in their quest to win the 2017 Indian Premier League and their first step towards doing that is winning the eliminator against the Kolkata Knight Riders in Bengaluru on Wednesday.
Here is a possible playing 11 for the side:
David Warner(C)
The captain will once again be vital to the cause of the SRH as they look to make their way into the 2nd Qualifier. With 604 runs under his belt in this IPL so far, the Australian has once again been the lynchpin in the top order and will be the greatest threat for the KKR bowlers on Wednesday night.
Shikhar Dhawan
The Robin to Warner’s Batman at the top. Dhawan almost always seems to be in the spotlight for his lack of runs, but in this IPL, he is only behind Warner in the most number of runs and will look to add to his tally on Wednesday.
Moises Henriques
Henriques has not got the chances he would have liked to have, partly because the Sunrisers have used Kane Williamson at Number 3. But his utility both as a top-order batsman as well as a medium pacer could come in handy for the defending champions on Wednesday.
Yuvraj Singh
The all-rounder, who could not play in the previous match because of an injury will hope to return and step to the occasion. He has had an odd season with the bat so far and will look to fire in the business end of the competition.
Deepak Hooda
The youngster has not had the kind of season he was hoping after a superb domestic season, failing to make an impact both with bat and ball. With such a supreme bowling attack at their disposal, his bowling may not be needed too much, but with the bat, he will hope to make a bigger contribution.
Mohammad Nabi
The lesser talked about Afghan in the SRH ranks. While Rashid Khan has taken much of the accolades for his performance in this IPL, Nabi has played his part in the opportunities that he has got and if given a chance on Wednesday, he will look to shine again.
Naman Ojha(WK)
The wicket-keeper has barely got an opportunity to bat in this game. Perhaps the team could have sent him up the order against the Lions, but they chose to go with Vijay Shankar.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar
The leader of their bowling attack, Bhuvneshwar Kumar has once again been splendid for the Sunrisers with the ball, picking up wickets both at the front and the back end of the innings and he will be vital to their cause again.
Rashid Khan
One of the best young cricketers in the IPL so far, Rashid will once again be key to the chances of the Sunrisers and his role in the middle overs, when the likes of Robin Uthappa, Manish Pandey and other are likely to be in the middle, will be vital.
Siddarth Kaul
The youngster has proven to be the perfect foil for Bhuvneshwar with the ball, usually giving him company in the death overs and he will need to be at his best against KKR on a small ground on Wednesday.
Mohammed Siraj
The other fast bowler who has impressed. Siraj has been used in the middle overs by the team and he will need to do the controlling role once again on Wednesday.
