IPL 2017 Fantasy Tips: Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Delhi Daredevils
Transfers made – 0; Transfers remaining – 42
(uncapped) Basil Thampi out – Deepak Hooda/Shahbaz Nadeem in
Uncapped preference order: 1. Shreyas Iyer 2. Deepak Hooda 3. Shahbaz Nadeem
Captain – David Warner (flat deck)/ Chris Morris (sluggish deck)
Sunrisers Hyderabad brought Mohammad Nabi into the team against Kings XI Punjab to handle their left-handers, and with Delhi Daredevils having a couple of their own in the top 6, he should keep his spot. While there were no particular reasons given for Ashish Nehra missing out on the last match, I am guessing it was just to manage his workload – and so I wouldn’t be surprised to see him walk back into the XI either.
For the Delhi Daredevils, the news is that Corey Anderson is fit. Expect him to come back in for Angelo Mathews. Jayant Yadav could replace Mohammad Shami considering the number of left-handers in the SRH top 4.

A lot of what course this match is likely to take will depend on the deck. The last one was a little tricky, so look for clues at the toss as to what the captains say, how the team combinations are, and decide accordingly. Whichever way it goes, there is no reason for you to not have David Warner, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Chris Morris in your team.
Of the rest, Sanju Samson and Sam Billings will have an extremely good bowling attack to deal with and hence their impact could be minimised. Karun Nair looks completely out of form, and Rishabh Pant at No.5 is among the worst tactical decisions I have ever seen, which is not just affecting his fantasy potential but also costing his team the results.
Zaheer Khan has been amongst the wickets, but given his age, it doesn’t make sense banking on him, as he could be rested anytime or fail to maintain the intensity he has shown so far. Amit Mishra, Pat Cummins and Anderson are all steady options, but I don’t really see anything outstanding in them.
Coming to the home side, Yuvraj Singh will have to deal with the extra pace of Cummins and Morris, something at this point of his career will be very difficult. Shikhar Dhawan and Moises Henriques would have been very good picks ahead of the last match, but not so much now.
I have been carrying Rashid Khan for days and it solves me the headache of having to decide on him, Nabi has to be bat a little higher to become a good enough fantasy pick.
