IPL 2018 - 4 Key uncapped Indian all-rounders
The 2018 edition of the Indian Premier League kicks off on April 7 with the contest between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings.
In the shortest format of the game, it is highly necessary to have a good depth in batting and bowling departments so it was not a big surprise to see that this year's IPL auction saw various teams focusing a bit more towards all-rounders.
This can also be proved by the fact that Ben Stokes was the costliest player at the auction with Rajasthan Royals' paying a whopping amount of Rs 12.5 crores to bring Stokes into their fold.
Several Indian all-rounders also fetched a huge sum at the auctions and they look likely to play a big part in their side's fortunes in the eleventh edition of the IPL.
Here is the list of 5 best-uncapped all-rounders participating in this years IPL.
#1 Krunal Pandya (Rs 8.8 Cr)
Krunal Pandya, the elder brother of Hardik Pandya, is a left-handed all-rounder who bowls slow left-arm orthodox and has remained with Mumbai Indians since making his IPL debut in the 2016 edition.
Till now, he has played 25 matches in the IPL taking 16 wickets with an economy rate of 7.15. He has also scored 480 runs with a strike rate of 158.41 and an average of 36.92.
His highest score is 86 against Delhi Daredevils at VDCA stadium, Vishakhapatnam. Pandya has received 4 Man of the Match awards in the IPL thus far.
