Jadhav is expected to play as an of all-rounder for CSK

As rightly said, if luck favours, the Indian Premier League can change the lives of the cricketers, that too in both the aspects - career growth as well as the bank account. The price-tag of the players is proportional to the expectations by the franchises. Over the period of ten years, there have been several international stars that failed to execute the responsibilities. This list shows the ones that might not convert their salary-cap to equivalent performance or in other words they look 'overpriced.'

#4 Kedar Jadhav - ₹7.8 crores

Technically sound Kedar Jadhav is a promising right-handed batsman, and is often considered to be a street-smart cricketer by the pundits of the sport for his subtle placements with the bat and unusual slinging bowling style. The Pune-born was sold for ₹7.8 crores in the recently concluded IPL auctions to Chennai Super Kings which looks exaggerated.

The 32-year-old has been a part of the IPL since 2010 but failed to cross even 200-run mark in any of the seasons barring the last one. Although he is a capable finisher, batting mostly in the lower middle-order, it is hard to recall any of his impactful innings that turned the tables upside down.

Furthermore, CSK neither see him as a backup-keeper nor he is an electric fielder. Perhaps around ₹3-4 crores would have made justice to his calibre.
