Kings XI Punjab has struggled with the death overs bowling options in the previous seasons but the inclusion of the Australian pacer for a whopping sum of ₹7.5 crores in 2018 has worked quite well for the franchise.

The 31-year old speedster is widely regarded as a T20 specialist owing to his terrific performances over the years.

Last year, Tye picked up three hat-tricks while playing in various leagues. His ability to generate pace and variations in the death overs make him a lethal bowler.

He has put batsmen in trouble with precise length, slower deliveries, and knuckle-balls.

So far, he has played 14 IPL matches and picked up 22 wickets which included a five-wicket haul he delivered in his IPL debut match for Gujrat Lions last year.
