IPL 2018: 5 players who can hit the longest six
The 20-over format of the game is tailor-made for power-hitters who strike the ball many a mile. Over the years, the Indian Premier League (IPL) has witnessed numerous displays of powerful shot-making.
There are many power-hitters on show in this year's edition of the IPL as well and it is extremely tough to pick the best of the lot. All eight teams have their own set of hitters as it is an absolute essential in this format of the game.
Here's who we think will be in contention to hit the longest six in IPL 2018:
#5 Brendon McCullum
Though he's probably not what he used to be in the first few editions of the IPL, Brendon McCullum is still a very powerful hitter of the ball. Who can forget his breathtaking knock that set the IPL ablaze in the very first match of the tournament in 2008, in Bangalore?
Interestingly enough, he will be donning the jersey of RCB this time around and playing at the Chinnaswamy might bring back old memories and old form. Expect him to hit a few big ones this year!
