Just a few hours after a change in venue was announced for the Chennai Super Kings, they were hit with further bad news as key player Suresh Raina has been ruled out of action for 10 days due to a calf injury. This means that he will miss their next two matches.

Raina suffered the injury during the match against the Kolkata Knight Riders and was dismissed after scoring just 14 runs. He will now miss CSK's matches against the Kings XI Punjab and Rajasthan Royals.

This is a big blow to the CSK outfit who already lost Kedar Jadhav for the entire season due to a hamstring injury.

Apart from Jadhav and Raina, Murali Vijay, too, is recovering from a rib injury.

The reason for the change in venue for CSK is due to the ongoing Cauvery water issue. A lot of protests are going on in the city and there was a lot of unrest outside the M Chidambaram stadium prior to Chennai's match against KKR.

Their matches will now take place at the MCA stadium in Pune.

CSK, who are returning after a two-year ban, got off to a perfect start by winning their first two matches in superb fashion. They snatched victory from the jaws of defeat in the first match and chased down a mammoth total of 202 in their second match to move to the top of the table.

Raina, who failed to get going in the first two games, will look to come back strong and get back into his groove. He is the leading run-scorer in the IPL.
