The night matches at Mumbai have so far been low scoring, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see things change today, as Wankhede has historically been a venue that has seen batsmen make merry. As far as the playing XIs are concerned, with their batsmen finding form now, Mumbai Indians would be tempted to try Adam Milne in place of JP Duminy, but other than that, the team looks settled.

Rajasthan Royals, on the other hand, could make a few changes despite notching up a couple of wins in a row now, as there are a few spots there that haven’t been sealed yet and the team continues to look vulnerable in both batting and bowling.

I already have Krunal Pandya and Jofra Archer in my team, and I am getting in Suryakumar Yadav and Jos Buttler as well, as there is no real reason to leave them out. Archer and Jasprit Bumrah respectively are their biggest, and only, threat today, and if they escape that phase, we should again get good returns.

Rohit Sharma hasn’t done anything better since I dropped him last time, so he stays out. Sanju Samson could turn out to be a quality differential if he gets enough overs at the crease, while Evin Lewis could come into the game too if he survives Archer’s initial burst.

The uncertainty surrounding the batting positions of Hardik Pandya and Ishan Kishan is the only reason I am leaving them out, while Krishnappa Gotham pales in comparison with the other uncapped options in play today.
