Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Shakib Al Hasan could all come into play today for Sunrisers Hyderabad in addition to Shikhar Dhawan and Kane Williamson, two players I already have in my team. However, with the match being played at a venue that has mainly seen low-scoring matches this year, be careful about bringing in too many players.
In Robin Uthappa, Nitish Rana, Dinesh Karthik and Shubman Gill, the Kolkata Knight Riders middle order has players who are capable of handling the spin duo of Shakib and Rashid. Their challenge lies more in negotiating Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and that is why I had said in my previous article he could turn out to be an important player against KKR.
It, therefore, comes down to a choice between Bhuvneshwar and Rashid, and I am going in with the latter, as even if Bhuvneshwar clicks, it wouldn't cost me much, with him not being a fantasy favourite this season.
Coming to Kolkata Knight Riders, I don’t expect any of them to have it easy today, which is what makes this a tricky one. Narine’s batting is unlikely to come off against an attack as good as the Sunrisers, while Russell has Rashid and Bhuvneshwar at the death to deal with.
Karthik would get you the usual 30s and 40s, but you need more at this stage of the game. So unless you have more than 6 subs to use, it is better to avoid the visiting players in this fixture.
