IPL 2018: Four wrist spinners who are on a roll this season
The art of wrist spin has become very popular in the Indian Premier League so much so that now every team is taking the field with at least one wrist spinner. The emergence of wrist-spinners in the batsman-friendly league has to be one of the notable things of this fast-growing era of cricket.
One thing that clearly stands out this season is that at least one of the top 3 wicket-takers from each team is a leg-spinner. Such is the dominance of wrist spinners in the Indian T20 league.
Here are the top four of those men who enriched the magic of wrist spin this season:
#4 Yuzvendra Chahal
The Haryana born leggie has been exceptional for Royal Challengers Bangalore over the years. The 27-year-old is known for his impressive variations. His ability to draw the big hitters into a slog with his widish leg-breaks and get them out stumped is a rare skill.
With 7 wickets in 8 matches, Chahal is the second highest wicket-taker for RCB. His economy rate of 7.62 is also the second best for RCB.
