Can KKR bounce back after that heavy defeat?

After suffering a massive 102-run defeat at the hands of the Mumbai Indians on Wednesday, the Kolkata Knight Riders face a must-win situation on Saturday afternoon, when they take on the Kings XI Punjab at the Holkar Stadium in Indore in the first match of doubleheader Saturday.

Here is how they could line-up for the game:

Sunil Narine: Narine had an off-night with the bat against the Mumbai Indians and the franchise will hope for him to come good on Saturday with the bat at the top of the order as well as make an important contribution with the ball.

Chris Lynn: The hard-hitting Australian opener who has been playing despite having an iffy shoulder will once again be banked upon to get the side off to a flying start.

Robin Uthappa: The right-hander has had an up-and-down IPL this year and with the business end of the league upon the franchise, he will need to up his level of consistency.

Nitish Rana: After starting the competition well, the left-hander has hit a bit of a rough patch in some of the recent matches and will need to get going for his side to set or chase a score down.

Shubman Gill: Missed out on the last game, but should come in for Rinku Singh. Gill has impressed one-and-all with his batting in the competition so far and if given a chance will look to put up another strong performance.

Dinesh Karthik (C&WK): The side's best batsman so far in the competition, Karthik will need to deliver with the bat on Saturday by playing one of those useful cameos which has become known for recently.

Andre Russell: The key man for the franchise, Russell's contribution will once again be very important if the side are to do keep their hopes alive.

Tom Curran: The England all-rounder, who was in the news in the last game for bowling the no-ball that he didn't will once again be banked upon by Karthik to strike in his four overs on Saturday.

Piyush Chawla: The Kings XI Punjab outfit boasts off several right-handers and Chawla should fancy his chances against them on Saturday.

Kuldeep Yadav: The other wrist spinner and one who will have to get onto the wickets column on Saturday, Yadav too will enjoy that fact that he will get an opportunity to bowl at several right-handers on Saturday.

Prasidh Krishna: Krishna made his debut against the Mumbai Indians last week at the Wankhede Stadium and will hopefully do well on Saturday, after being picked in India A squad to tour England.
