IPL 2018, Match 19: Royal Challengers Bangalore predicted XI to take on Delhi Daredevils
After their first four games, it is safe to say that the Royal Challengers Bangalore have not got rid of their demons of last year, which saw them finish at the bottom of the table. They showed positive signs in their first two games, winning the second one against the Kings XI Punjab.
However, they lost their next couple of games against the Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians. They conceded more than 200 runs in both the matches and did not come close to chasing the target down on both the occasions.
They will be back at the Chinnaswamy stadium against the Delhi Daredevils on April 21 and will hope to turn things around.
Here is their predicted XI:
Openers:
Quinton de Kock has got off to good starts in all his matches so far, however, he has failed to convert them into big scores. He will need to pull his socks up in order to keep his place in the side for the upcoming matches.
Manan Vohra was bought by RCB this season but hasn't played a single game so far. However, with Sarfaraz Khan not in form, he will most likely be given a chance. He had a decent record with the Kings XI Punjab in the previous seasons and will look to get off to a good start with RCB as well.
Middle order
Virat Kohli has been the lone shining star for RCB this season with 201 runs to his name. He is the holder of the Orange Cap as well. He was visibly disappointed with the team after their last loss and will hope to get back to winning ways against the Daredevils.
He is the perfect fit for your fantasy side.

AB de Villiers played well in the first two games but failed to get going while chasing big scores against Mumbai and Rajasthan. He needs to get back into his groove as he can single-handedly win matches for his side.
Mandeep Singh has been RCB's best batsman after Kohli. He has performed well in three out of the four matches played so far and has provided stability to the middle-order.
All-rounders:
Colin de Grandhomme will probably be given his first start of the season against the Daredevils. He will play the role of the finisher and also chip in with a few overs as well.
Washington Sundar has had a topsy-turvy tournament so far. He performed well in a couple of games but conceded a lot of runs in the other two. He will look to get back to his economical best in the upcoming matches.
Chris Woakes has picked up eight wickets in the tournament so far but has conceded a lot of runs in the process. He will look to cut down on the number of runs conceded and continue to pick up a lot of wickets.
Bowlers:
Yuzvendra Chahal has not been at his best in the tournament so far. He has not been able to pick up wickets at regular intervals and his economy rate has been quite high as well. He will need to get back to his best and come to the party.
Umesh Yadav has been RCB's best bowler so far, apart from the match against the Royals where he conceded 59 runs. He has given RCB the perfect start while bowling but has not been effective enough in the death.
Mohammed Siraj was given his first chance to bowl in their previous match and was the most economical bowler. He will surely be given a few more chances and he will look to make the most of it.
