IPL 2018, MI vs SRH: Twitter erupts as SRH defended 118 against MI

Put into bat for the first the time in this year's IPL, the Sunrisers batsmen were bowled out for just 118. At the innings break, it was expected that the Mumbai Indians can easily chase down the target as the Mumbai Indians batsmen were up against a depleted Sunrisers bowling attack.

Even without Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Billy Stanlake, SRH had one of the best bowling lineups in the tournament and were capable enough defend the total. SRH's bowling was led by Rashid Khan and Siddharth Kaul, whose combined figures read 8-1-34-5. All the bowlers contributed to the side's victory picking up at least one wicket while defending a low score. The Mumbai Indians fell short by 31 runs as only two of their batsmen could cross the double-digit mark. With this win, SRH became the first side to defend a sub-120 score twice.
