IPL 2018: Rohit Sharma speaks about Mumbai Indians ahead of the season

Ahead of IPL 2018, Rohit Sharma, captain of the defending champions Mumbai Indians seems to be excited about his new set of players and is keen to get his hands on that trophy for the fourth time.
"To be honest, I am excited. It’s always exciting to have new faces and new players in your team. We have got a great blend of youth and seniors. So, it’s always a good sign for the team to have a fine mix of both. The only challenge is to ensure how everybody gets along with each other," Rohit was as quoted by mumbaiindians.com.

Although the captain is very excited about his new wards he believes that the new faces should gell well quickly as this will help in building trust which is an important factor going forward.
Rohit also heaped praise on the culture in the Mumbai Indians camp ands said that the franchise believes in making people feel welcome and making them feel at home as this allows the players to play with freedom and express themselves better on the field.

Mumbai Indians retained Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, and Jasprit Bumrah and used their RTM cards on Kieron Pollard and Krunal Pandya in the auctions.
Rohit has led the team to the title on three previous occasions and the team looks fairly settled to give other sides a good run for their money.
What’s next?
The Wankhede-based side will play the inaugural match this season with the Chennai Super Kings at their fortress and in many ways, this will set the tone for the rest of the season.
