Sunrisers Hyderabad medium-pacer Siddarth Kaul has been reprimanded for breaching the IPL's Code of Conduct during his side's game against the Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium.

The 27-year-old bowler was found guilty of a Level 1 Offence under section 2.1.4 of the IPL Code of Conduct, which he admitted to.

The Pathankot-born player was seen vociferously celebrating the dismissal of Mumbai leggie Mayank Markande, who was given out leg before (despite a review by the home team) in the 16th over of their innings. Kaul went on to pick up three wickets, giving away only 23 runs in the process.

He is currently second on the list of highest wicket-takers in the IPL this year, incidentally behind Markande itself. While the rookie spinner has 10 wickets from six games, Kaul has taken nine in as many. In the absence of their pace spearhead Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who is out with injury, Kaul has made quite an impression.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad managed to defend a paltry 118, thanks to the combined bowling effort of the side, one that helped them beat the hosts by 31 runs. Kaul was the pick of the bowlers, with Rashid Khan and Basil Thampi contributing with two wickets each.
