Here's a look at their possible playing XI for the match:
Shikhar Dhawan: The big question mark first up for the side: Will Dhawan be fit enough to take the field? The left-hander who hurt his hand in the previous game against the Kings XI Punjab was given an extra day's rest. VVS Laxman said ahead of the match that Dhawan, if needed, would play with pain as well. It remains to be seen if he does or not.
Wriddhiman Saha (WK): The Indian Test wicket-keeper has been used as an opener by the franchise this year and if a half-fit Dhawan plays on Sunday then it will be up to him to deliver the goods.
Kane Williamson (C): The most consistent performer with the bat for the franchise thus far. With the bowling doing their job superbly, it has allowed the New Zealander to do his job with the bat in hand and he will be hoping to do more of the same in future as well.
Manish Pandey: The right-hander will need to stand up and be counted once again on Sunday like he did against the Kings XI Punjab when he made a 42-ball 57.
Shakib Al Hasan: The Bangladeshi all-rounder will again be banked upon to come up with the goods both with bat and ball, especially the latter with CSK having many right-handers in their unit.
Yusuf Pathan: To back Shakib, Yusuf Pathan will be hoped upon to shine both with bat and ball on Sunday.
Deepak Hooda: The Baroda all-rounder will have another chance on Sunday to play useful cameos with the bat and keep it tight with the ball, and against the likes of Suresh Raina and co. if he can manage that, he can certainly give himself a pat on the back.
Rashid Khan: The key threat for CSK on Sunday. The Afghanistan leg-spinner will once again be banked upon by Williamson to come up with the goods and if he can give his skipper what he seeks out of him, then it would have gone a long way in restricting the opposition.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar: The opening spell from Bhuvneshwar will be vital for the hosts as they will look to nip out an in-form Shane Watson early to restrict the Super Kings considerably.
Billy Stanlake: From the hosts perspective, it would be a big boost if big Billy Stanlake returned to the fold for the game on Sunday. The Australian has troubled most teams in the competition so far but and should he turn up again on Sunday, he would look to do more of the same.
Siddharth Kaul: The right-arm seamer will hope to keep the middle-overs tight for SRH and hopefully grab a few wickets to stem the flow of runs.
