IPL 2018: Top 3 Uncapped Indian Batsmen
We are in the 11th season of the IPL and once again we are witnessing some great batting by the Indian future stars. Sanju Samson, Shreyas Iyer, Karun Nair and many other youngsters have showcased their talent in the IPL. Every year we have some new Indian talent coming up through the IPL. This year is no different; we have seen some great knocks by some of the young Indian uncapped players.
So let’s have a look at the Top 3 Uncapped Indian batsmen in this season so far.
#3 Ishan Kishan (MI)
Ishan Kishan was the U-19 Captain in the 2016 U-19 World Cup. India was runners-up in the World Cup. Ishan Kishan is a wicket-keeper batsman from Jharkhand. Last year he played for Gujrat Lions He was bought by Mumbai Indians in the auction for 6.2 Crore. He has been in brilliant touch this IPL season. He has scored 151 runs in 6 innings so far, at a strike rate of 141.12. He has scored some crucial runs up at the top alongside Suryakumar Yadav.
The thing that stood about him is that even after suffering from a nasty injury against RCB, he came in the next match and scored an important 50. His style of attacking cricket suits this format perfectly. MI will be hoping that he continues his good form as they are languishing in the bottom half of the table.
