The 8th season of the Big Bash League concluded just a few days ago, with Melbourne Renegades lifting the trophy. Now, all eyes will turn to the Indian Premier League, which is set to kick-off on March 23.

There are many players who are part of both the T20 leagues. Some of these players performed really well in the Big Bash League and will be looking to carry that form into IPL 2019 as well.

Here, we take a look at three star performers of BBL 2018-19 to watch out for in the upcoming edition of IPL.

#3 Ben Cutting

The hard-hitting Aussie all-rounder, Ben Cutting was in very good form in the recently concluded Big Bash League while playing for Brisbane Heat. Even though Brisbane Heat could not qualify for the semifinals, Cutting starred with both bat and ball in the tournament.

The 32-year-old scored a total of 249 runs with the help of 2 fifties, and picked up 12 wickets in the tournament. In the last league match, Cutting played a blistering knock of 81 off just 30 balls which helped his team chase down the target of 157 in just 10 overs.

In IPL 2019, Cutting will turn out for the Mumbai Indians. So far, Cutting has played 18 matches in the IPL and has scored 220 runs from 14 innings at an average of 24.44 and an unbelievable strike rate of 177.42. His performances with the ball have not been too impressive though as he has taken just 9 wickets from 16 innings at a modest average of 44.67 and economy rate of 8.97.

It will be fascinating to see if Cutting can continue his fabulous run of form and inspire Mumbai to a playoff berth.
