#3 Anmolpreet Singh
The 20-year-old batsman from Punjab has been bought by the Mumbai Indians at the December 18 auctions for ₹80 lakhs.
He has been a steal for MI, at such a low price, if his form in the 2018-19 season is taken into account. He got limited opportunities in the Vijay Hazare trophy but he capitalized on them to the fullest as he scored 314 runs in 3 matches at an astounding average of 104.66, including two centuries.
His match-winning knock of 71, for India A, against a bowling attack comprising of New Zealand international bowlers the likes of Hamish Bennett, Doug Bracewell, James Neesham and Lockie Ferguson, and that too in New Zealand is a testament of his skills and what he can offer to the side.
