The build-up for IPL 2019 has been massive already with some of the exciting & much awaited young talents coming into the scheme of things. A franchise always searches for a perfect mix of Indian internationals, overseas and uncapped players to build a strong squad.

Over the years, players like Ravichandran Ashwin, Mohit Sharma, Mandeep Singh, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, Siddharth Kaul, and many more have impressed before donning the blue jersey.

Here is the list of 6 uncapped players, who are expected to be a regular member of their teams in the forthcoming season of IPL.

#6 Mayank Markande

The leg-spinner, who hails from Punjab, took the IPL fraternity by surprise in the last season, when he made his debut for Mumbai Indians. Mayank Markande was roped-in by MI at his base price of INR 20 lakhs.

The 21-year-old scalped 17 wickets from 14 games, including a 4 wicket haul, where he exhibited his deceptive googlies to struggle the batsmen. Even the great Anil Kumble was in awe of the Bathinda-born spinner for his heroics in his first IPL appearance.

With a dearth of spinners in MI, Markande will hold the key for their success in the upcoming edition of the T20 extravaganza.

#5 Prasidh Krishna

With the spotlight being on Shubman Gill, Shivam Mavi & Kamlesh Nagarkoti ahead of the last IPL season, there was another young gun who silently made his mark and cracked in the minds of cricket fans by his performance.

Prasidh Krishna, the tall fast bowler from Karnataka, picked up 10 wickets from 7 games for Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2018. The fact that impressed the most was his bowling ability at the death at such a raw stage in his career.

The 23-year-old, who can hit the bat hard at a strike rate of 140, is also more than capable of bowling his slower ones. With the lack of Indian pacers, KKR can bank proudly upon their uncapped star who is set to be a mainstay of their journey in 2019.
