IPL 2019 final went to the wire as Mumbai Indians defeated defending champions Chennai Super Kings by one run and won its fourth IPL title. CSK did exceptionally well to restrict Mumbai Indians to a modest total of 149 but they failed to chase the target and lost the match on the final ball of the match. This was also a fitting end to a fabulous tournament that had a lot of tight finishes.

Talking about IPL 2019, we witnessed yet another season of intense cricket. From last over finishes to mankading, IPL 2019 had everything in it. The tournament was extremely competitive as all the teams looked evenly matched. The battle for the spots in the playoffs was so tight that the final spot was sealed only in the last match of the league stage. Talking about individual performances, there were some eye-catching performances from foreign as well as Indian players. And before departing to kickstart their World Cup preparations, the likes of David Warner and Jos Buttler lit up the tournament with some sparkling batting.

There were some fabulous individual performances in the tournament and on those performances we have selected the best XI of IPL 2019. Here is the IPL 2019 XI.

Disclaimer: The composition of the team is based on the four-foreigner rule that is followed in the IPL.

#1 David Warner (Matches - 12, Runs - 692, Average - 79.20)

After missing out IPL 2018, David Warner returned in IPL 2019 with style. Despite being out of cricket for some time, Warner did not look rusty and started the season with a 53-ball 85 against Kolkata Knight Riders. He did not look back and ended the tournament with 692 runs at an outstanding average of 79.20.

The former Sunrisers skipper gave blistering starts to SRH and formed a deadly opening combination with Jonny Bairstow. And despite featuring in just 12 matches, Warner won the Orange Cap in the season.
