The most consistent side in Indian Premier League history, Chennai Super Kings have already secured 3 wins in 4 matches and will next face Kings XI Punjab tomorrow. It has been the joint team effort from all the players which has helped CSK win matches. Led by the legendary MS Dhoni, CSK are all set to play their 5th match of IPL 2019 on Saturday at 4.00 pm.

The match will be played at CSK’s home ground, the MA Chidambaram Stadium. We saw how the pitch played in the first match of IPL 2019 where RCB lost all their wickets for just 70 runs. So the spinners would be very important for both the teams in this battle.

Here is the probable playing 11 of Chennai Super Kings for their battle against Kings XI Punjab:

Ambati Rayudu and Shane Watson were the top openers for CSK in the last edition of IPL and thus, a lot was expected from them this year. However, they have not been in great touch so far but considering the nature of Dhoni's team selection, both will feature against KXIP.

The middle order of CSK has been one of the best in the history of IPL as it features the leading run scorer in IPL history, Suresh Raina. He has been in good touch in the past 4 games as he has looked to improve his strike rate.

CSK would be slightly weaker tomorrow as Dwayne Bravo has been ruled out for 2 weeks. So, Sam Billings can be the player who could possibly replace him as he would strengthen the batting order.

MS Dhoni is a player who can bat well in any situation so, there is no doubt that he will play.

Kedar Jadhav also locked his place with his performance in the last game against MI.

CSK has got the best spin bowling all-rounders in their side. Ravindra Jadeja has played well for CSK since years and he may get the support of Mitchell Santner who may replace Mohit Sharma given the slow wicket of Chepauk.

Imran Tahir and Deepak Chahar are the team's 2 key strike bowlers who had performed well this season. Though Shardul Thakur has been slightly out of form, Dhoni would still prefer to go with him as he has got experience and can definitely bounce back.

Probable Playing XI

Ambati Rayudu, Shane Watson, Suresh Raina, Kedar Jadhav, MS Dhoni (C & WK), Sam Billings, Ravindra Jadeja, Mitchell Santner, Imran Tahir, Deepak Chahar, Shardul Thakur
