IPL 2019: Complete squad of Mumbai Indians with their salaries
Mumbai Indians had a forgettable Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 according to their standards where they finished fifth in the league table. They are the first team in the history of Indian Premier League to win the title three times (2013, 2015, 2017). Mumbai Indians will be hoping for a better season this year when they start their IPL 2019 campaign.
Rohit Sharma & Co have to show their calibre and perform as a unit. This year they have released many quality players like JP Duminy, Pat Cummins, Mustafizur Rahman, etc. Mumbai Indians have traded the South African wicket-keeper batsman, Quinton de Kock from Royal Challengers Bangalore. He is an exceptional talent in limited-overs cricket who can make an instant impact in the blue jersey. They already have a young keeper in Ishan Kishan to replace him if they want to play another overseas player. Both of them could also be seen open the batting together for the Mumbai Indians.
The IPL auction 2019 took place last year, and we were not disappointed by the owner groups who were fighting it out to get the best player of the lot. Mumbai Indians retained their star players for the upcoming season and ended up buying six players in the bidding war. Mumbai Indians along with Sunrisers Hyderabad have the most balanced side on paper. They have a great set of quality players with the right combination of Indian and overseas players.
