IPL 2019: Full list of players bought by Delhi Capitals
Delhi Capitals have been one of the underperforming teams in the history of the cash-rich T20 league. They have retained Shreyas Iyer [c], Rishabh Pant, Prithvi Shaw, Amit Mishra, Avesh Khan, Harshal Patel, Rahul Tewatia, Jayant Yadav, Manjot Kalra, Colin Munro*, Chris Morris*, Kagiso Rabada*, Sandeep Lamichhane*, Trent Boult* and traded in Shikhar Dhawan from SRH ahead of the auction.
In total, they bought 9 players at the Auction in Jaipur and have a squad of 25 players, including eight overseas players going into IPL 2019. Despite the fact that they filled their complete quota of players in the squad, they ended the auction with INR 7.7 crore in the bank, which is more than any other side.

At the Auction
Delhi Capitals’ first buy was Hanuma Vihari, who was bought at the price of Rs. 2 crore. They had a massive war with Kings XI Punjab to bag an all-rounder Axar Patel at the huge amount of Rs. 5 crores.
They also went for the Indian pacer, Ishant Sharma, who was bought for Rs. 1.1 crore. Delhi Capitals got the destructive cricketer in the form of South Africa’s Colin Ingram.
DC also went for plenty of uncapped players in the form of Ankush Bains, Nathu Singh. Shreyas Iyer’s Delhi Capitals signed Keemo Paul, who has been in tremendous form for his country, West Indies. They also opted to buy Jalaj Saxena and Bandaru Ayyappa for their base price of Rs. 20 lakh.
