IPL 2019: Full list of players bought by Kolkata Knight Riders
Kolkata Knight Riders went for some interesting players during the IPL Auction 2019 at Jaipur. Ahead of the auction, they retained Dinesh Karthik [c], Robin Uthappa, Chris Lynn*, Andre Russell*, Sunil Narine*, Shubman Gill, Piyush Chawla, Kuldeep Yadav, Prasidh Krishna, Shivam Mavi, Nitish Rana, Rinku Singh, Kamlesh Nagarkoti.
In total, they bought 8 players at the Auction in Jaipur and have a squad of 21 players, including eight overseas players to choose from going into IPL 2019. KKR are short of four players to complete the 25-member squad and they ended the auction with INR 6.05 crore in the bank.

Harry Gurney - ₹75 lakh

At the Auction
Despite already having a destructive all-rounder like Andre Russell in the squad, Kolkata Knight Riders went for another West Indies all-rounder, Carlos Brathwaite. They bought the tall all-rounder for the huge price of Rs. 5 crores. The right-arm pacer from New Zealand, Lockie Ferguson was also bought for Rs. 1.6 crore.
The wicket-keeper batsman from Maharashtra, Nikhil Naik was bought for Rs. 20 lakh. They also got domestic cricketer, Prithviraj Yarra for his base price of Rs. 20 lakh. During the last round of the auction, KKR opted to buy Joe Denly at his base price of Rs. 1 crore.
