IPL 2019: Full list of players bought by Rajasthan Royals
Rajasthan Royals had an interesting strategy during the IPL Auction 2019 at Jaipur. Ahead of the auction, they have retained 16 players - Ajinkya Rahane [c], Krishnappa Gowtham, Sanju Samson, Shreyas Gopal, Aryaman Birla, S. Midhun, Prashant Chopra, Stuart Binny, Rahul Tripathi, Ben Stokes, Steve Smith, Jos Buttler, Jofra Archer, Ish Sodhi, Dhawal Kulkarni, Mahipal Lomror.
In total, they bought 8 players at the Auction in Jaipur and have a squad of 25 players, including eight overseas players to choose from going into IPL 2019. Despite the fact that they filled their complete quota of players in the squad, they ended the auction with INR 7.15 crore in the bank.

At the Auction
Rajasthan Royals needed 6 Indians and 3 Overseas players to complete the 25-member squad for the next season of the Indian Premier League. They bought Jaydev Unadkat for the whopping price of Rs. 8.4 crore. They also went for Varun Aaron to increase the bowling strength.
In order to strengthen their pace department, they went for latest sensation from West Indies, Oshano Thomas for Rs. 1.1 crore. They also opted to buy Shashank Singh for Rs. 30 lakh and Liam Livingstone for Rs. 50 lakh. RR got the domestic talents like Manan Vohra, Shubham Ranjane, Riyan Parag and also bought Australian cricketer, Ashton Turner at the last moment.
