The schedule for the first two weeks of the Indian Premier League (IPL) was released just a few hours ago by the BCCI.

The entire schedule was not released as the dates for the upcoming General Elections have not yet been finalised. As of now, the first match of the tournament will take place between defending champions Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore on March 23, 2019.

In this article, we take look at the schedule for the Royal Challengers Bangalore, Chennai Super Kings, and Mumbai Indians for the first two weeks of the tournament:

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)

The RCB have had two forgettable seasons now as they under-performed in 2017 and 2018, after reaching the final in 2016. They finished 6th on the table last time around. With a few good buys this season, they will look to turn things around and win their first ever title.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK)

The Chennai Super Kings made a spectacular comeback to the IPL last year after completing their 2-year ban. They won the title, defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad in the final. They have hardly made any changes to their squad, and will hope for their winning combination do the job once again.

Mumbai Indians, 3 April (A)

Mumbai Indians (MI)

The Mumbai Indians under-performed last season as they failed to reach the playoffs. The Rohit Sharma-led side will look to come back to winning ways this year and win a historic 4th title.
