IPL 2022 is set to begin on 26 March with a rematch of last year's final featuring Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders. The Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans will make their debuts in this year's tournament.

The upcoming season will mark a new beginning for all the teams. Before the season, the BCCI allowed the existing eight franchises to retain a maximum of four players each. Because of that rule, all squads underwent massive changes.

Many franchises tried to re-sign their released stars at the mega auction but not all were successful. Hence, ahead of IPL 2022, all teams have a new-look squad. To make things fresher, quite a few franchises have changed their kits as well.

However, three of the 10 franchises have a kit similar to the designs worn by other clubs or international teams. Here's a list of those three franchises.

#1 IPL 2022 RCB kit has a design similar to BBL's Melbourne Renegades

Australia's Big Bash League (BBL) has gained enormous popularity over the last few years. Some of the biggest names in world cricket participate in the BBL every season. Apart from getting star players, the league is also famous for its attractive kits.

Many fans regard BBL kits as some of the best in the world. Former BBL winners Melbourne Renegades (MR) donned a red and black kit last season. The design is similar to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)'s IPL 2022 kit, which was unveiled last night.

RCB have opted for a gradient touch this time instead of maintaining a border between the black and red colors in their jersey. It looks a little similar to MR's kit with the colors being swapped in places.

#2 Delhi Capitals' new kit resembles England's T20I jersey colors

The Delhi Capitals (DC) donned a blueish jersey in the previous three IPL seasons. This year, they have added a reddish touch to the kit. Like RCB, DC, too, revealed their IPL 2022 kit yesterday. Soon after their release, fans pointed out how it looked almost the same as England's T20I jersey.

Some fans even joked that the Delhi Capitals stars would soon link up with England to play for them in international cricket.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) revealed their IPL 2022 kit a while ago. The 2016 winners have opted for an orange-dominated jersey this year instead of using orange and black equally.

Incidentally, Big Bash League team Perth Scorchers also made a similar change recently. They used to wear light orange and black but have now changed to dark orange with a touch of black. SRH have also gone with a dark orange color this year.

The Perth Scorchers won the 2021-22 edition of the Big Bash League earlier this year. It remains to be seen if the dark orange color changes SRH's fortunes in the upcoming IPL season.
