Gujarat Titans (GT) will take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday, April 28, in match number 45 of the ongoing IPL 2024.
It will be an afternoon contest that kicks off at 3:30 PM (IST). Gujarat are currently placed seventh on the points table, with four wins to their name after nine fixtures. Bengaluru are languishing at the bottom, having secured just two victories from their nine matches.
GT suffered a narrow four-run defeat to Delhi Capitals (DC) in their previous clash, failing to chase down a 225-run target. Sai Sudharsan and David Miller notched up half-centuries in the encounter, scoring 65 and 55, respectively. Sandeep Warrier was the pick of the bowlers, registering impressive figures of 3-0-15-3 in the high-scoring game.
RCB, on the other hand, finally ended their losing streak with a comprehensive 35-run win over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). They successfully defended a target of 207. Virat Kohli and Rajat Patidar scored 51 and 50, respectively, while Karn Sharma and Swapnil Singh claimed two scalps each.
