IPL: 5 big-name players you didn't know were once a part of RCB
Royal Challengers Bangalore, perhaps the most followed team with the most passionate set of fans, and yet the perennial underachievers in the Indian Premier League, have, over the years, had big-ticket players, but for some reason, flattered to deceive.
Yes, there have been marquee names like Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers among others in their ranks, but there have also been players not very well known to the masses.
Here in this slider, we identify five rather unknown players who have been a part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore squad.
#5 Mohammed Kaif
The former Indian player was in Rajasthan Royals' squad when the tournament started back in 2008.
He then went across and played for the Kings XI Punjab in 2010 and then shifted down south to play for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2011 and 2012.
In 9 matches, he could only manage 55 runs at a meagre average of 14 with a strike rate of around 100.
