IPL 6: Player of the Week winner - Week 2
Dinesh Karthik has won the highest number of votes (38.19%) in the player of the week poll held earlier this week. The 27-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman, who plays for Mumbai Indians, grabbed the top spot from a list which featured big names such as Chris Gayle (RCB), Virat Kohli (RCB), Siddharth Trivedi (RR), Ravindra Jadeja (CSK) and Rohit Sharma (MI).
It was Karthik who played a brilliant 86 of 48 balls vs Delhi Daredevils when Mumbai set a huge target of 209 and won by 45 runs. It was Karthik once again who scored a quickfire 41 of 29 balls vs Pune Warriors, which set up the platform for MI and Rohit Sharma continued what his partner had started.
The second choice for the spot was Virat Kohli (Royal Challengers Bangalore) with 28.28% votes.
