IPL 6: RCB vs CSK - Flops of the match

A soggy evening finally heated up as the Royal Challengers Bangalore lit up the cloudy skies of the City. Chennai lost by 24 runs but they had only themselves to blame as they got hammered by Kohli and co. The batting then gave up as well and even Dhoni’s hammering at the end could not spare the Super Kings the blushes.

Jason Holder

The Barbadian youngster was punished by Chris Gayle as he conceded 20 runs in the only over that he bowled. The Big Jamaican showed the young upstart Holder why he is known as the most dangerous batsman in the world, sending the last three deliveries from the youngster into the stands. A lesson in hitting which included a flick into the stands, one that he will hope that he forgets in a hurry.

Suresh Raina

The big yellow egg. Raina threw caution to the wind and tried to hoick Zaheer into the Bangalore crowd off the very first ball he faced. However, he found himself doing the walk of shame as the ball landed into the waiting hands of Vinay Kumar. A big duck for the big hitting Raina ensured that CSK found themselves in a bigger heap of trouble.

AB de Villiers

A rare flop show from the South African Captain. He started off with a boundary but his habit of trying too many things too early saw him lose his wicket. He moved around too much in the crease and perished after mistiming a delivery from Mohit Sharma into the skies. When the ball came down the vault like hands of Jadeja were waiting to pouch it.
