IPL Fantasy, KXIP vs RCB - Best XI to pick for today's match
The Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kings XI Punjab will take on each other in an extremely important encounter at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. The two sides have a lot to play for, especially RCB, who face a do-or-die situation. They are coming fresh off a victory against the Delhi Daredevils and will look to carry on the momentum against a Punjab side, who have won only one out of their previous five matches.
RCB chased down a 180 + target in their previous match with ease as Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers took the game away from a depleted Daredevils side. RCB's bowling has seen a lot of improvement over the past few matches and they will look to continue performing well.
KXIP, on the other hand, have slipped up big time. They were on top of the table a few weeks ago but now find themselves in a situation where they have to win two out of the three remaining matches. Their bowling has let them down as they conceded 245 runs against KKR. Their batting department has a few problems as well as KL Rahul has been the lone shining star. Chris Gayle has not been performing in the past few matches and their middle-order has been flaky as well.
Here’s our suggestion for the playing XI in today’s games (5 core players who are a must have for today’s game are marked as “CP”).
Today's Best Eleven for KXIP vs RCB:
#1 KL Rahul - CP
#2 Chris Gayle
#3 Virat Kohli - CP
#4 AB de Villiers - CP
#5 Aaron Finch
#6 Karun Nair
#7 Moeen Ali
#8 Ravichandran Ashwin
#9 Andrew Tye - CP
#10 Umesh Yadav
#11 Yuzvendra Chahal - CP
The reason for choosing Moeen Ali over Axar Patel was due to the fact that he would open the batting for RCB and thus, could get a few valuable runs on the board, and of course, he is expected to bowl his quota of four overs.

#1 Parthiv Patel
#2 Mandeep Singh
#3 Mujeeb ur Rahman
#4 Axar Patel
#5 Tim Southee
Captain Options
#1 KL Rahul: He has been one of the best batsmen in the entire tournament and has consistently been performing well. He has scored three half-centuries in a row and we can expect him to come good against his former team. He will look to give his side the best possible start.
#2 AB de Villiers: The enigmatic South African came back to form in the previous game after a couple of poor outings. He looked extremely confident and we can expect him to make some inroads today as well. He will look to make full use of the flat nature of the pitch in Indore as decimate the opposition bowling attack
