IPL: Stars who have played as many matches as the number of franchises they have represented

Nathan McCullum

Almost all International stars have played for the IPL franchises over the years. While some have stamped their authorities in the league, some could not make an impact.

There are some famous T20 stars who have played less number of matches for several IPL franchises. Now let us look at three players who have played as many matches as the number of franchises they have played for.

(Overseas stars who have represented two or more franchises are considered)

Nathan McCullum

The former Kiwi all-rounder has represented New Zealand in 63 T20I matches in which he has scored 299 runs and taken 58 wickets, with his best figures being 4/16. He retired from international cricket after the 2016 ICC World T20. Nathan is the elder brother of well-known wicket-keeper batsman, Brendon McCullum. He has represented various English county, Big Bash, and Pakistan Super League franchises.

In the IPL, he has represented two different franchises- the Pune Warriors India and Sunrisers Hyderabad. In 2011, he played for the now-defunct Pune Warriors in their first IPL season. Then he was a part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad squad in 2013 but never got an opportunity to don the Orange jersey. Overall, he played two IPL matches in his career in which he scored 26 runs but failed to pick up any wickets.
