IPL: Unmukt Chand and Vinay Kumar sign for Mumbai Indians, Michael Hussey released
A BCCI release has revealed that young opening batsman Unmukt Chand and medium-pacer R Vinay Kumar have both been transferred to Mumbai Indians for the upcoming 2015 IPL season.
Chand was bought by the Rajasthan Royals in the auction that was held earlier this year for Rs. 65 lakhs but wasn’t a regular feature in their starting XI. On the other hand, Vinay Kumar was bought by the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and his most memorable moment came in the group stage match in the UAE versus Royal Challengers Bangalore, where he bowled the last over to help KKR win a close encounter.
