There is little doubt that when it comes to athletes on Twitter, there are few better than New Zealand's Jimmy Neesham. The New Zealand all-rounder is one of the most entertaining athletes, whether he is playing for his country or not. And during the IPL Auction 2016, he was involved in a conversation with Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin.

Although he may not be currently playing for the Blackcaps against Australia in their ODI series, he still finds time to make some entertaining conversation on Twitter. What sets him apart from most athletes is his ability to withstand criticism and always be honest with his responses.

While in this age of social media, many are tight-lipped for fear of saying the wrong, Neesham is one of those cricketers, who speak out their heart, no matter what the topic of conversation is.

Just a few days ago, he took to Twitter to talk about the whole Mankading controversy and was patient enough to not only convey his personal verdict but also took the time to respond to queries from fans, no matter how ridiculous or insightful they were.

Although Neesham, who had a base price of 50 lakhs, ended up being unsold in the IPL auction, that didn’t stop him from commenting on the same.

One of his posts caught the attention of Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, who responded to it and Neesham was surprisingly alright and didn’t let not being picked in the IPL bother him too much.
