Kevin Pietersen shoots for the cover of his autobiography
Controversial former England batsman Kevin Pietersen is currently working on his autobiography apart from playing T20 cricket around the world.
Adam Strange, publishing director for the Sphere non–fiction list has bought the rights to publish the book in October. Pietersen is England’s all-time leading run getter across all formats and they are looking to make full use of his popularity. And KP took to twitter to tweet an instagram picture which he had uploaded. He had mentioned that he was shooting for a cover picture for his book.
"I doubt anyone would dispute that KP is one of the most captivating cricketers ever to have played for England. So I'm delighted that readers are finally going to be able to experience his life from his perspective – both on the pitch and off it." said Adam Strange.
Pietersen said: "Im really excited about the book. So much has been written about my cricketing life and I'm delighted that I now have the chance to tell my own story."
He was recently involved in a controversy yet again with Andrew Strauss after the former England captain made offensive remarks on air about Pietersen during the MCC vs Rest of the world match at Lords. Strauss immediately apologised, but with the autobiography coming up, we can be sure that we haven’t heard the last of it yet.
