Kevin Pietersen and Stoke City's hilarious banter after chance meeting at Dubai restaurant
England cricketer Kevin Pietersen and Premier League club Stoke City happened to be at Dubai’s Nobu restaurant at the same time, and they had a humourous exchange after the chance meeting.
The fire was stoked when Pietersen derided a few Premier League clubs, questioning their worth in England’s top division. Stoke City, who are currently on 10th spot in the table, took offence to this and tweeted a reply.
Pietersen is a known Chelsea fan, and is also known to have claimed his loyalty to former coach Jose Mourinho.

Stoke City replied to KP’s lack of respect by pretending not to know who he was, and offering to teach him something about them.
Who are you again @KP24? You're more than welcome to a game when you're free, we can teach you more about us #SCFC https://t.co/n9o82QzVMZ
