Kumar Sangakkara trolls Shane Warne over the 'snake-bite' incident
Who can forget Kumar Sangakkara trolling Pakistan batsman Ahmed Shehzad while the latter was attempting a run. But this time, Kumar’s funnybones seemed to have found another victim. And he is none other than Shane Warne.
Here’s Sangakkara’s tweet,
He is actually referring to a recent incident when Shane Warne plunged headfirst into a box filled with snakes on an episode of Network Ten show "I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!". When Shane lowered his head into the box, an aggressive anaconda bit the legendary leggie.
However, later it was revealed that the snake was not venomous by one of the Network Ten officials.
"The juvenile anaconda is the one that actually struck Shane," a Network Ten spokesperson told the news.com.au website. "It's non-venomous but very aggressive.
"Anacondas have 100 rear-facing teeth. Being bitten by one is like getting 100 hypodermic needles at once."
But according to Kumar, it is not Shane Warne, but the snake who might have been in danger after biting Warne. He seriously was at his wittiest best for sure.
Was Kumar referring to the ‘vicious’ leg breaks that the great leggie possessed, or has he been too naughty this time around referring to the numerous ‘mischievous’ activities that the legend has done throughout his career. Only Kumar can tell that.
The fans now have every reason to laugh at this ‘insidious’ dig. Let’s see what Warne replies. That would definitely be a thing to watch out for!
